I know how you feel. I have learned when I win something nice to turn whisper off. I have been fortunate enough to win a +8 coronet, +8 poleaxe, +8 shield, socd necky, a couple +5 stones, a +6 stone and a class 9 moneybag over the years I have been playing. Each time it is the same thing, scammers and cheap noob offers. Would be nice if CO could do two things: 1) give us the ability to turn broadcast off so don't have to witness the trashing comments the arrogent players are constantly throwing at each other and 2) make it so you can choose your language and when a message is sent to you in another language the message will automatically be translated to your language. May make for a lot less rudeness and misunderstandings.

Its on rare awkward occasion that I win a +8... although I did find it funny that in a month I won a mated pair of +8s. First came the +8 tower, then almost exactly a month later I played for a friend (sadly) and won its mate, a +8 fan xD

I had never won a +8 until I fussed about not winning one in this thread (see my first post in this thread, then my second) lol Haven't won one since either lolz. But, on the bright side, I did win a soc arch coat (worthless on my server) 2 eli dual 2h (also worthless) and a soc necky (which I actually needed) tonight :P

aha, well you got lucky i guess!
I haven't won a +8 in the 5 years i been playing, and when i first started playing i would do 10 lotto trips a day, these days i do about 10 trips a week. I worked it out that i had done around 4000 lotto trips and no +8.. its a conspiracy i tells ya!

you sound like you've got about the same luck I do, lol. I learned long ago to just avoid lotto. Some people pull out +8's like it's cool... I win +1 stones and life fruit baskets, lol.

yep same here.. the only times i lotto now are when i get lotto tickets from team pkt and odd spare cps laying around. Gear wise i'm full +8 with +12 ears, armour, weaps and ring... so to increase any of my gears now would require bulks, and as i don't buy dbs anymore (havent in 18 or so months), i get odd cps laying around quite often, so i just lotto them :P
