We don't even know if Pirates were actually TQ's choice for the next class. Pirates won during the last vote vs Monks, but Monks were still implemented.

tq is so fucking retarded most of the ppl that voted pirates were just fukin around. i'm sure if there was an option for like a marine class or some shit everyone would pick that too.

Been hearing about the for a while, so they are probably being worked on.
I am sure they will be even more overpowered then monks though lol.
