This server transfer is starting to become a bad joke. People quit everything in order to get transfered. I dont think anyone want to take the chance next week when its super gw. TQ you failed big time now & 215cps wont do shit, wtf you thinking 215 CPS is SHIT

The server transfer was a bad joke to begin with since you have to pay to get transferred. I want out of my server but there's no way I'm paying $80.00 USD apiece for each of my characters to be transferred. So, I'm screwed!

Well, I have three characters that have not-so-bad + unBound gear. I don't really care about my other characters, but those three I do care about since I've put a lot of time and effort into them. So, realistically, I'm looking at $240.00 to transfer to another server -- that's pure insanity, especially when other online games have FREE server transfer service. Bottom line: TQ is a rip-off and there should be a disclaimer on the main site that it isn't a FREE game, but rather a PAY-TO-WIN game.

You do realize 3k cp costs a little less than $45, not $80, yes?

Granted, that's still quite expensive, and i would have expected somehwere around $15-30, but it's not nearly as bad as you're making it out to be, especially since you can always earn the cp entirely in game.

different people can only do certain payment options. meaning it maybe $45 for you were to others it could be higher or lower, just cause it would cost you $45 doesnt mean thats what it would cost others now does it?

Well, User548421626, you assumed wrongly. I don't pay online; I go to GameStop, which only sells 25.00 TQ cards. When 2,050 CPs costs $30.00, I'm not even getting that amount with a $25.00 card -- I'm getting about 1,650, if memory serves me right (It's been a while since I'm bought any.). I'd have to buy two $25.00 cards in order to hit the mark.

With that said, I did mess up, it isn't $80.00, it's more like $50.00 per character. But, that's my own fault; I was thinking it was 3,999 to transfer, which is 1000 CPs over the actual amount. Either way ... the server transfer price is astronomical considering other games provide the service for free. Do THAT math: Free VS Pay.

Also, I'd like to know how to earn CPs in the market when it's a botters haven. Please ... explain your methods.

Plenty of other games charge for the service too. Off the top of my head, both wow and ffxi both charge $25 for it.

SWTOR doesn't charge, and we're talking George Lucas here, the king of making money off of fans. I also heard that SWTOR might be switching to free-game-play later this year instead of the $15.00/month.
