![]() If you have a favorite recipe or would like to know a recipe please post them here.
I came up with this thread because I have made 3 different recipes for Orange Chicken and none of them taste like the Chinese Restaurants here in America. So i thought "why not make a thread where others may be able to share their favorite recipes or perhaps ask for recipes that we may know. Also I love making new recipes for our family to try and just don't know what to experiement with, so if any are shared here perhaps it will give me some ideas...lol. Ps: Recipes do not have to be original just post if you know they are good ![]()

![]() Yeah, I'm 17, so I don't have much experience with cooking. All I know is Ramen Noodles + Water = Food.

![]() Also I would like to add my first experience with Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken...
I had to make it with sake... cuz I didn't have cooking Sherry... ANYWAYS!! 4 Fairly sized boneless Chicken Breasts Dry Cooking Sherry Soy Sauce Brown Sugar 1 can of Pineapple Rings / or Chunked (whichever you prefer) Cornstarch Butter Mix in a large mixing bowl: 1/3 cup Dry Sherry 1/4 cup Soy Sauce 1-2 Tbs Brown Sugar (preference wise) 1/3 cup of the Pineapple Juice 1 Tsp of Cornstarch Add the 4 pieces of chicken after mixing well and let marinate for an hour. Heat up a good non stick pan and cook the chicken till white all the way through. (If you didn't know how to cook the chicken already) Set cooked chicken aside or while it's cooking grab another (skillet) pan and add: 1 Tbs butter The Marinade from the Chicken And your Pineapple Rings / Chunks Simmer till glazed - adding more brown sugar to taste if you prefer (Glazed- a thicker sauce.. almost like gravy for ppl that don't know) Put glaze over chicken and your done! Serve with whatever.. Rice / Green Beans.. etc etc Personally I had to add a bit more brown sugar to suit my tastes but all in all in turned out rather good.

![]() Np Khev! I've been the victum of Ramen for a good loooooong while.. had to dress it up a bit otherwise I would have gotten sick of it. :P You'll want to add beaten egg into the water about 2-2 1/2 mins into the 3 min cooking slot.. it's kinda messy but works :P

Agreed, my friends introduced me to making ramen noodles then putting scrambled egg into it, cut up summer sausage, melted velvetta cheese, nacho cheese or cool ranch doritos, and so much more lol. They make them taste so much better.

![]() Ingredients
1 can crescent rolls 1 pound ground beef 1/4 cup finely chopped onion OR 1 teaspoon onion powder 1/3 cup chopped dill pickle slices 2 tablespoon ketchup 1 teaspoon prepared mustard 2 tablespoon flour 2 tablespoon dill pickle juice 2 tablespoon milk 2 cup shredded American cheese divided Directions Preheat oven to 375°. Unroll crescent rolls and press into the bottom and up the sides of an 8 inch pie pan. Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned. Drain well. Stir in onion, chopped pickle, ketchup and mustard. Sprinkle with flour and add pickle juice and milk. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat and add 1 cup of shredded cheese. Pour into the prepared crust and bake for 15 minutes, or until edges of crust are golden brown. Remove from oven and top with remaining cup of cheese. Let stand until cheese melts. Garnish with extra ketchup, mustard and pickle slices. (This is a recipe I found on the Disney Family Recipe site and my children loved it. You can substitue many things to make it more to your hamburger desire as well.)
