wasnt this fixed? monks still do more damage with their weaker attack then tros and ninjas (same gears, maxed out)

As far as I know only their weapon/m.def was nerfed nothing about their attack..

The biggest complaints were about Monks' defense - that's what they fixed.
Monks used to have more defense than Warriors with shield and almost as much magic defense as a tao.

Isn't magic defense capped anyways? Maybe monks had a higher magic defense cap.

there are two different defences for m-def. One of them is m-def % and one is simply m-def. This makes things extremely difficult. They should simply get rid of the m-def % and just have the m-def.

Also, m-att shouldn't be a fixed figure, but have a higher and a lower range, same as every other class, so tao's don't hit a consistent number over and over again.

why that? the formula is pretty easy actually.

magic attack * spell boost * ( 1- opp mag def % + your pene) - opp mag def * (1-stg value) * (1-bless value) = dammage

note: opp mag def % - your pene is capped at 90%.
