I got scamed bei a "friend"

Hello CO Fans!

I got scamed , not much, but around 1250 CP. A person on Royality_EU called HydraTM and his "brother" (don't know if this is a part of his lie story) Extréme, scamed me. They pretend to be my friend, even helped me out with my first rebirth, getting the gems, gave me unique items etc very friendly. Then suddenly after I reached my last path to 2nd rebirth he offered me, that he'll buy a special token for me that costs 1250 cp, He said only level 125 can buy it in a special shop. I said.... hmm okay thats an amount of cp but okay I gave them to him. He said:" Wait here at lucky lady, I'll be back in 5-10 minutes." I said okay and waited...... around 1-2 hours. All the time he said he has do do a quest it wont take so long anymore. After 3 hours of waiting I whispered him how long it may take? But he was offline...... After 2 hours again I saw in the world chat that HydraTM want to buy something for around 1000cp (an armor piece, bottle or something) I try to whisper him if he already got the special token, but no answer, I looked in my friend list and his name and Extréme disappear (I think he kicked me out).

Thats just I want to report you guys. All I learned from that is never trust anyone you don't know in reallife (even there)......

Just a little story happend to me. What do you guys think? Though luck? I'm just dumb and idiotic. I am very looking forward to reading your opinions

Sorry for your loss, maybe TQ can do something? Dunno if they would.

oh well,its just as micdeath said;some lessons are learned the hard way.
a similar thing happened 2 me b4, since that happened i didnt give my account data(not even the account id,or any items ofc) even to my closest friends.
however i dont think TQ will help u out .

Hello, Don't fall for the whole Sibling / RL friend sharing BS, this is a very popular method of being able to scam without losing faith of other players ( other potential victims).... its not only popular within games, but also real life fraud.

example :
A (cool sharer) B ( horrible sharer ) = Both same person

C = Victim

The scammer uses his "A" persona to make friends and gain trust..... scams... then blaims "B" for everything ( a fall guy ).... so that he can still carry on as "A" and do it all over again without people hating him.

moral of the story is... don't trust anyone.

Moral of the story is not don't trust anyone.. but investigate if suck special coin exists first.

Oh,about the coin,i guess he meant the "exemption token"
and that 1 is really available right now,its in the shopping rush for 1099 cps

in 1999 , Everquest you could ask anyone if he can mule items for you for another character. Nowerdays, every great games (like conquer etc.) are filled with such buttbiscuits

The rule for online gaming is simple:

Never give anything to anybody and expect to get it back unless you can walk to their house and punch them in the face.

Oh and stop buying cp until the bots are stopped.
