So, some guy named John Ramsey has calculated the exact date that Jesus would come back. Which is this Saturday. According to him, it'll start at 6:00 pm (no clue what time zone ) and it'll start with a massive earthquake.

Not sure if I believe him or not, but hes just a regular 25 year old college kid that just randomly started looking at the bible.

Edit: Nevermind, hes just a follower of a different guy who calculated the numbers. Harold Camping came up with the numbers using a complex formula of some sort.

^^ agreed. And for starters, even if he did come this saturday, it would be years, heck, decades, before we knew about it, as he would be coming as a baby.

My personal beliefs defy all religions, as i think religion was used to explain the unexplainable before it could be explained.. make sense?? So i honestly think, in today's day and age, there is no need to have religion.

although, i would never force this view on anyone else, as long as others don't force their religious views onto me (like egys try to do haha)

I honestly don't believe it myself. It was brought up jokingly by my Cold War teacher. Since scientists haven't given any proof that there would be an earthquake, it shouldn't really come into effect.

I myself am a Catholic. And it was funny for the last 2 weeks even before I knew about Judgement day which I just found out about today at school, I was wondering when is Jesus going to "Going to come and judge the living and the dead" it is said in the Apostle's Creed. I'm not saying it is true and I'm not saying it isn't. All we can do is wait and see...

If my memory serves me right, there was a Judgment Day back in 90's, and there ain't nothing happening back then, I would rather believe Mayan Prophecy than this crap.

yeah, there was meant to be, i remember as those are the days i was in school.. and the world was meant to end too.. and we ran riot because we thought it was the last day we'd be alive :P

Agreed, the end of the world is always near until the date comes and it does not end. the prophecies (So they are called) have been predicting this for ages. Recently There was the Y2K scare of 2000 where all electronics would crash ending civilization, the 2012 prediction which is what the movie was based off of, and now aliens are supposed to come soon and wipe out the world.

The way I look at it is if it comes then when it comes I am sure there will be nothing any of us can do but accept it and take it from there.
