Forum Lags

Its just for me or forum truly lagging?
It takes more than 10mins just to open 1thread/page/replay

It's not you, these forums are terrible for it. Quite often the forums are down as a whole. again, another half assed tq job.

I notice that weekends are troubled for both the game and the forums, but my lag is not that nasty - Some days I get disconnected, and usually I get a 10 seconds lag, just that.

Considering Conquer is overcrowded on weekends, login and game servers are naturally slowed down. But forums, specially the VIP corner, are much lighter on the machines. Its abnormal to see them lagging unless the problem is in the network.

Is TQ using another network for the forums? Don't think so. They have already a good structure in US and its cheap, fast, reliable, and no Great Firewall.

Is TQ running the forums in the same structure as login/game servers ? Maybe... we use actual VIP accounts here (even if secondary) so it may be connected. And using the said cheap and (intended to be) fast structure.

Who knows? Only someone inside. Ahaam.

The reason the game lags is different from the reason the forum lags ;o

The lag goes off an on for me. Sometimes it's wicked bad, yet other times it's Speedy Gonzales.
