Nope tested it out with a pure water and there is an attack bonus.

I agree, Azure Shield should only be casted on the user. I hate doing Team Qualifier and facing a team that all have Azure Shield. But I see why they would make it so they can cast on other people, Water Taos are supposed to be a support class...

Monks are already the best supporting class (not to mention having nice offensive abilities as well). Revive is all but useless now that there is soul shackle. Warrior has better defense. Why would you take away the only thing making water playable?

If Azure Shield was removed, it seriously would NOT make Waters "way under-powered." Even without using Azure, they are OVER-powered compared to other classes.

They can keep the shield just give us our arena points per hit instead of allowing them to win by keeping shield on and blocking us from getting any points. The shield should be used to keep them alive not give them a point advantage in arena.

i love how people say a class is overpowered. A class is only as good as you can play it.

That is entirely untrue, Jerazia. Granted, PVP is much different from the games I'm used to (Tekken and Mortal Kombat, for example, where you cannot jump around like a Mexican Jumping Bean.), but when a +1 and +2 1st reborn Tao can whip my ass because they can zap from anywhere on the screen, and once I'm zapped (and automatically keep getting zapped) my stamina is gone and I have no chance to replenish it, there is a problem ... And if you cannot see that, then you are blind.

Nah I think its fine. if you dislike someone who uses it without being a water then get a pure water and cast it on yourself aswell. because water is a peaceful class for the most part(except when they get a spear and use the SP skill, or the 2,500kills required for the normal prayer bead). ALL of waters defense skills is for everyone. id love to hear one that's not, therefor shield should be too. its like the advanced cure of the magic shield they have.
