Conquer 3.0 [Updated regularly]

Right, after reading many many suggestions, I have decided to make a suggestion that the programmers actually just start working on Conquer 3.0 instead of slowly implementing changes.. If you have any ideas that you would like to add in feel free to suggest!

Class overhaul

First things first, the main factor into making a completely new version of Conquer 3.0 is to rethink the whole class system to make a fairer balance in game for everyone. The object of the class overhaul would be to “nerf” the 4 classes Monk, Trojan, Ninja, Fire. Then giving a buff to Archers to bring them in line with Waters and Warriors which are said to be fairly balanced. For more information about the class overhaul, refer to the following thread:

Graphical update

The next thing that springs to mind is to give the whole game a graphical update to bring it in line with other games that are around as this game is simply outdated in the graphics department. This does not mean adding statues and random objects that just means an invalid jump. This can include a lot of things from giving more character customisation to making this game 3d ready to use with a 3d monitor. For more info refer to the following thread:

Stop recycling images

Another graphical change that needs to happen is to stop recycling items/maps. Itemtype.dat is easy enough to be edited to put new images in it for new items. TQ did well to re-do the whole +n stone system, however, there is still a lot of recycled images being used which eventually leads to scams. For more info refer to the following thread:

New maps, new cities

There are many things that can be done with completely un-used maps. One thing would be to simply make new cities, which may or may not have warehouse functions, but one thing for sure is to add new features in new cities, for example, have a new type or arena in one new city for ‘playing’ or ‘practicing’ skills like FB and SS. In these new cities there could also be clan spots to give more clan’s a chance to own a spot to defend. For more info refer to the following thread:

Honorary guild positions

Next on the mind is to re-think the whole guild system again. The whole honorary position is next to pointless in its current state, with a fairly large amount of CPs having to be spent for only a month in a position! For more info on how to fix this, please refer to the following thread:

Cleaner Client

As this game is progressing, there is more and more buttons appearing in our screen which is extremely annoying when trying to jump around. So as this suggestion states.. Simply make the client a lot cleaner. Some of you will say to use the button to hide all buttons, but there is a way to clean the client without having to get rid of the buttons. Why do we need a banner at the bottom of the screen to tell us we are playing Conquer? I’m sure we already know this, or we wouldn’t be playing it? I did photoshop an image before with all the buttons (shopping mall – arena) got placed in the area of the banner, however, I cannot find this image on my computer! And then for the top buttons ~Fang~ has photoshopped an image for this. So for more information on the subject, please refer to the following thread:

In the “Option” menu, simply add buttons to turn off different effects, from dragon soul effects, super gem effects, nobility effects and so on. Revamp TG

Since 130+ has come out, nothing has been done to increase stakes/scarecrows in tg. The highest stakes/scarecrows are currently at level 125, which was great, when the top level was 130, However, now top level is 140, there should be something done to add 130 and 135 stakes/scarecrows. Or an even easier method would be to add a “VIP training ground” which simply had 130 and 135 stakes/scarecrows in. To get into this “VIP training ground” you simply add an option to current boxers to enter the VIP training ground instead of classic training ground.

Adding European times to weekly events

For many European players, there were no European servers when they started playing the game. This suggestion is to simply alternate weeks with weekly events, the same as happens with guild war. Some weekly events are as late as 5am for Europeans which is simply not fair to them. Some people will say to wait for server transfer; however, this will make them sacrifice a lot as not all will be transferred (nobility). Another possible solution to this is to make a brand new European server in each group and offer European players the opportunity to move to this brand new server, taking everything with them including nobility.

Move Artisan Cloud to market

Although for most of us, we will rarely have to go to Artisan Cloud to put gems in gear, for the weaker members of the game, It would be worth moving this NPC to market. Everything else to do with gems are already in market, from composing gems, to getting a Super Gem from rebirth. For more info on how to fix this, please refer to the following thread:

Market Search Function

A great idea to simply add a market search function. Basically, instead of walking around all market shops, you can simply enter keywords or type to find specific items on market. Other games have this implemented so shouldn't be too hard to implement! For more info on this, please refer to the following thread:

New Resolutions

The resolutions seem to be outdated as technology has moved on in the last 8 years, with some players playing on 1080p monitor's. So this suggestion is to simply make new resolutions that are compatible with higher resolution monitors!

Disable trades & other requests

Trade requests, mentor requests and other requests can get extremely annoying during game play when you get spammed. This idea is simply to have an option to turn them off. For more info on this, please refer to the following thread:

Very great idea! An expansion that surpasses the previous. Like a revised 2.0!
And hopefully if this suggestion gets heard and dually noted, The bugs in 2.0 can get worked out with this as well. Its almost like reverting back to 1.0 with all the benefits of the 'in-times' of Conquer Online!

Of course I'm sure more suggestions will be added to this thread, but that's the beauty of the Suggestion Forum. It's what the people who play think is best for the game! :D

Great job at compiling the most useful information.
If this is indeed implemented into a new version of Conquer it would be wonderful.

I would also like to add my idea for guild reputation points.

I have added the socket NPC to my original post, however, I'm not fully convinced about your other idea. This would still lead to problems. The only possible solution to this would be for guild fund not to be lost when PKd.

I understand everyone has their own opinions.
I particularly like the reputation point idea because it will make guilds work for their rank instead of just buying it. You never truly know what a guild accomplishes other then paying a lot of money to increase their level.

well no - its not always money that increases a guild level but gears inscribed.
If any chances came from the pking in guild, was simply to remove the function to lose guild fund when a member is pkd. maybe others can convince me otherwise, but for now, I'm undecided so i haven't added it in! :)

Gears inscribed are basically still money though lol.
The gears we inscribe would be nothing without the money put into them to make them what they are.

It's cool if it is not added into your conquer 3.0 idea. I tossed it in because it is my idea and one I am rather fond of. I still like your Conquer 3.0 idea with or without it. Suporting you regaurdless either way :D

I have a few ideas to ballance the classes as well as a few to as you said "buff" archer Im compiling it now and condensing and rewording to make it so normal humans can read it...
