in response to your post! look at your character stats, Notice stars on the gears you have been working on, A number at the bottom of the icon shows the gear & its perfection. when all the gears are the same number, they will no longer be dimmed. for example my tailsmans are 7 the rest are 6(6 are not dimmed) but tailsmans are! so if your boots are 4, u need to work on perfection for the boots untill they reach same as other gears. also super items can be used to perfect a gear. Another thing not sure if its a bug, the roll over on items shows perfection that number is wrong on all gears, it will only use composition (+n), so superheavenfan +5 with 2 sockets only gives a +5 composition! Be careful not to waste your gears only for composition points!
